Tulsa Zoo celebrates the earth year round through conservation initiatives that help the flora and fauna of our great planet. We hope next year to be back to our full celebration for “Party for the Planet”. This year, we encourage you to learn about our conservation projects through signage placed on grounds April 22 through April 25.
The City of Tulsa is hosting its 27th annual virtual creek cleanup! This community event is dedicated to the preservation and protection of Tulsa’s waterways.
Create a team, pick a day between April 10-24, select from one of 20 locations. Supplies will be furnished. All participants will receive a free t-shirt.

Join our Plastic Pledge! Since 2017, Party for the Planet has encouraged guests to take the Plastic Pledge to reduce use of one-time plastic. We are committed to a year-round Plastic Pledge by moving away from plastic that is used once and thrown away. The Tulsa Zoo has switched to reusable shopping bags and reusable cups with lids and straws at the gift shop and food service locations. Zoo guests again are invited take the Plastic Pledge and to refill the reusable cups, or bring reusable water bottles to the zoo.
