Join us for our Komodo dragons’ 5th birthdays at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25 in the Conservation Center. Guests are invited to learn about Komodo dragons as we celebrate Moloch and Juanita. Zookeepers will give both Moloch and Juanita their own special treats.
Native to the Indonesian Islands, Komodo dragons are the largest lizard. According to the IUCN Red List, Komodo dragons are classified as vulnerable due to their limited range.
In July, the zoo broke ground on a new Komodo dragon exhibit, which is part of the Lost Kingdom exhibit complex. For more information about Lost Kingdom, click here.
