Snooz-a-pa-ZOO-za Family Overnight: Herp, Herp, Hooray!
6:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 25 through 10 a.m. Sunday, February 26
TULSA, Okla. (Jan. 16, 2017) — Three cheers for Herpetology! Reptiles and amphibians rock! In this cold-blooded family overnight, we will learn all about our slimy and scaly friends. That night, we will discover what makes these mysterious animals so fascinating and even get an up close encounter with a few. The next morning, meet with a zookeeper for a special talk about one of our mystifying residents. Enjoy exploring zoo trails, visiting zoo animals, playing special games, roasting marshmallows over a fire, and much more!
This overnight is open to multiple families with children 6 – 17 years old, allowing them to come together to enjoy our overnight experiences. All children must be supervised by a guardian or parent, and the zoo requires one adult for every 4 children.
The cost includes evening snacks, a continental breakfast, and admission to the zoo after the program ends on Sunday. Once registered, you will receive an electronic confirmation with details on items you and your family should bring along for this overnight adventure.
Participants sleep in our climate-controlled education auditorium. Please note the zoo has no shower facilities, and that is not included.
