Planting for Butterflies-Designing a Monarch Waystation

Want to learn about the monarch butterfly and how to design and create a Waystation at your house or business? Then you wont want to miss the Monarch Festival being held at the Oxley Nature Center. There will be a butterfly hike, a Kid Zone with lots of fun activities as well as free milkweed plants. In the evening at TCC Metro Campus there will be a special presentation given by Dr. Kristen Baum of Oklahoma State University, titled Monarch Corridors and Stepping Stones. There will also  be activities, games and stories  for kids during the presentation.

When: July 30th during the day 10:00-2:00 (Oxley Nature Center) and in the evening 7:00-8:00 (Tulsa Community College Metro Campus-Center for Creativity)
