TULSA, Okla. (November 25, 2019) – Spend time sharing the wonder of wildlife with your friends and family for only $1 on Wednesday, Nov. 27, at the Tulsa Zoo. While visiting, celebrate the season of giving by donating to Family & Children’s Services’ Santa Shop.
All donated items will go to Family & Children’s Services, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity with the mission of supporting and strengthening the well-being and behavioral health of families. The charity is looking for new winter coats and new toys for kids of all ages, especially teenagers.
“We are inviting everyone in our community by offering zoo admission for $1,” said Patrick Weisz, director of guest services at the Tulsa Zoo. “The smallest gift can mean the world to a family in need. We are not requiring guests to bring a toy for donation, to make this dollar day open for as many people as possible.”
As your family gathers together before Thanksgiving, consider making the Tulsa Zoo part of your plans.
About the Family & Children’s Services Santa Shop program: Family & Children’s Services requests that all donated toys, books, winter jackets/coats, and games be new, in the original packaging, and unwrapped.
About the Tulsa Zoo Dollar Day: Toy donations are not required for the dollar admission special. The discount is not available with any other offers.
