Tulsa Zoo To Host Pawsome Art Untamed Animal Art Show

Tulsa Zoo is hosting an animal art show on Dec. 14 with artwork completed in their Art Untamed program. The show will take place at Rajan’s Restaurant, which is in The Lost Kingdom at Tulsa Zoo, from 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. or until all artwork is sold out. Admission to the art show is free with the cost of zoo admission.

“The art show is a unique opportunity to see art pieces from animals that have spent time at the Tulsa Zoo through the years,” said Tulsa Zoo Philanthropy Coordinator Cristina Negraru. “We have artwork from elephants, tigers, flamingos and pythons to name just a few. We also have a very special original footprint from Gunda, the zoo’s first elephant that will be silent auctioned off.”

The animal art show will feature more than 100 one-of-a-kind prints and paintings from zoo animals past and present. Artwork varies in size and pricing.

All Art Untamed Animal Art Show sales will go back to support the zoo’s operating fund, which helps the zoo’s mission of Connecting, Caring, Advocating for Wildlife, People, and Wild Places.
