Join us for our next family overnight, Snooz-a-pa-ZOO-za: Winter Brrr-ds, which will take place on Friday, Feb. 19.
This weather is for the birds . . . literally! Not all birds fly south for the winter, and some birds live in the southern hemisphere permanently. Join us for this family overnight to discover the wonders of winter brrr-ds. During your adventure, you’ll go behind-the-scenes with penguins, meet an owl, and learn how our feathered friends spend their winter season. Enjoy exploring the zoo trails, meeting zoo animals, playing special games, roasting marshmallows over a fire, and much more!
Who can attend?
This overnight is open to multiple families with children ages 6 – 17 years, allowing them to come together to enjoy our overnight experiences. All children must be supervised by a guardian or parent, and the zoo requires one adult for every four children.
Friday, Feb. 19, at 6:30 p.m. until Saturday, Feb. 20, at 10 a.m.
$35 per person for members, $45 per person for non-members. For more information on our Family Overnights, call (918) 669-6221, or email the Education department at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The cost includes evening snacks, a continental breakfast, and admission to the zoo after the program ends on Saturday. Once registered, you will receive an electronic confirmation with details on items you and your family should bring along for this overnight adventure.
Participants sleep in our climate-controlled education auditorium. Please note the zoo has no shower facilities, and that is not included.
