Two new temporary residents are making their debut at the Tulsa Zoo this week. Grizzly bears, Butch and Sundance, came to the Tulsa Zoo from the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, South Carolina. As part of a temporary transfer, Butch and Sundance will live at the Tulsa Zoo while the Riverbanks Zoo completes construction on a new grizzly bear and otter habitat, which is slated to open in the spring of 2015.
Butch and Sundance arrived at the zoo in April and underwent a standard quarantine period. The bear duo is now on exhibit near the lemur exhibit.
