Blue Spiny Lizard

Sceloporus cyanogenys

Although they eat a variety of invertebrates, they favor flying insects. When not foraging for food, blue spiny lizards spend a lot of time sheltering underground or in rocky crevices to avoid temperature extremes and predators.
