Wild About Learning

Tulsa Zoo offers enriching opportunities to educate and inspire learners with Zoo 2 U and U 2 Zoo programs. There are several topics available to choose from, and each program can be tailored towards the ages/grade levels of the participants. Programs can accommodate in person or virtual experiences.

Available topics include Oklahoma Wild, Habitat Hoopla, Amazing Adaptations, and Zoo Careers. (Zoo Careers is recommended for middle school and up) These programs are designed to meet the needs of your specific age/grade level and currently support the Oklahoma Academic Standards for Science (OAS-S).

When inquiring about program options, please provide your contact information, organization/school name, and the topic you would like to learn more about or schedule. 

Zoo 2 U

We can bring the zoo to you! These programs are approximately one hour in length and include a presentation, activities, and an encounter with one of our education ambassador animals, all led by zoo educators.

Zoo 2 U programs are $100 per session and are presented in person at your facility. Sessions can accommodate up to 50 students. Programs can be presented in Spanish by request. 

U 2 Z00

If you are planning a field trip to the Tulsa Zoo you can add on a U 2 Zoo program. These programs include an engaging presentation led by one of our zoo educators and an encounter with one of our education ambassador animals.

In-person U 2 Zoo programs are $75 and last 45 minutes. Sessions can accommodate up to 50 students. Programs can be presented in Spanish by request. 

*Please note that U 2 Zoo programs are an additional cost and do not include admission into the zoo. Inquires for school group admission should be made at [email protected].

Zoo School

Zoo School is an exciting adventure for students in 1st -5th grade.

Each 3-hour expedition covers topics including animal science, life science and physical science. Zoo School includes classroom learning, adventures in the zoo, a fun and educational activity related to the topic presented and a visit from one of our education ambassador animals.

All Zoo School classes are aligned with Oklahoma state teaching standards.
