Conservation on Tap

Our premier beer-drinking event features unlimited samplings from local breweries, distributors and home brewers. In addition to the beer selection, enjoy live music, food and animal encounters.

Zoorassic World

Zoorassic World: Frozen in Time, is an immersive, temporary exhibit featuring more than 25 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs. The exhibit is now open and will remain at the Tulsa Zoo through Labor Day. A membership add-on package as well as general admission tickets are on sale now. The lifelike dinosaurs incorporate both movement and sound to give guests a realistic experience.

Zoo Nights

Come enjoy an adults-only summer night out at Tulsa Zoo! Guests 21 and older are invited to explore the zoo after-hours with a full zoo experience.

Party for the Planet

Party for the Planet is North America’s largest combined Earth Day celebration with more than 120 zoos and aquariums across the country participating. Discover what Tulsa Zoo and our conservation partners are doing to conserve and protect wildlife with specialty keeper chats from our animal care experts.

Spring with the Bunny

You are invited to celebrate spring at the zoo with this new family-friendly, interactive come-and-go style event. Guests will enjoy animal chats, participate in crafts and enrichment opportunities for some of our zoo animals and most importantly, meet the Easter Bunny.

Tulsa Zoo Opens Mary K. and John T. Oxley Family Elephant Experience

The final element of Tulsa Zoo’s visionary new habitat for Asian elephants officially opened on Monday, April 7. The Mary K. and John T. Oxley Family Elephant Experience reflects an extensive renovation of the existing elephant interpretive center, outdoor spaces and barn, which originally opened in 1995.

Tulsa Zoo is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of the Clayton and Gina Hughes Family Giant Anteater Habitat, marking the first time the zoo will house this remarkable species.

Tulsa Zoo Celebrates 55 Years of Family Run Fun

Tulsa Zoo celebrates 55 years of family run fun with Oklahoma Central Credit Union ZooRun Presented by CommunityCare, scheduled for Saturday, April 12. The event will include a 5k, 10k and the MedWise1-mile Fun Run.
Groundbreaking ceremony

Tulsa Zoo Breaks Ground on William S. Smith African Wilds Exhibit

In December of 2007, Tulsa was hit by a devastating ice storm, an event none of us could have predicted. Amid the chaos, a handful of dedicated team members, including Jarrod Wyatt, a long-time employee at Tulsa Zoo, found themselves essentially trapped within the zoo’s gates, cut off from the outside world. With record amounts of ice and a crippling loss of electricity, their situation was dire, but their commitment to the animals was unwavering.
