Come celebrate a whimsical, fall adults-only night out at Tulsa Zoo!

Guests 21 and older are invited to kick the Halloween season off sipping and strolling through our Lost Kingdom exhibit complex while enjoying live music, Education ambassador animal chats, yard games, entertainment and more. While this event will take place in the Lost Kingdom area only, guests can come out between 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on the day of the event to enjoy the indoor and outdoor exhibits of the entire zoo.

Drink Package

For an additional fee, enjoy a drink package with 4 specialty-themed drinks as you travel through the zoo.

Animal Experiences

Enjoy Education Ambassador animal chats presented by our Education staff.

Bars & Food

Bars with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available with drinks for purchase. Food will also be available for purchase from zoo concession areas.

Live Music

Groove to the rhythm of the jungle with live music performances.

Costume Contest

Costumes are highly encouraged! There will be a costume contest, and the best costume will receive a complimentary Associate Membership. A panel of zoo staff will vote on the winner. Please check our costume policy in the FAQ for this event before making your costume selections.

Zoo Nights: Halloween FAQ

Only select areas of the zoo will be open during the event. The October Zoo Nights session will be featured in our Lost Kingdom exhibit complex. Guests who would like to get the full zoo experience may come out any time between 9 a.m.-4 p.m. the day of the event. Guests will need to show their QR code registration email to receive a wristband to remain on grounds or return for the after-hours portion of Zoo Nights.

Since this is an after-hours ticketed event, memberships are not applicable.

No. Free parking is available in the main zoo parking lot.

Zoo Nights: Halloween is a 21+ costume-optional evening at the zoo. For the safety and enjoyment of all in attendance:

  • Costumes may not contain any realistic looking weapons that could easily be
    mistaken for an actual weapon. This may include toy swords, knives, guns, etc.
  • Costumes may not contain sharp objects, pointed objects, or materials that could
    potentially strike another guest.
  • Costumes may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or political.
    Noisemakers of any kind are prohibited.
  • Tulsa Zoo reserves the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing
    attire that is considered inappropriate or attire that could detract from the
    experience of other guests or cause issues for the animals in our care.
  • Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into, and/or
    removed from the event unless their costume can be modified to meet the above
    standards.
  • The Tulsa Zoo cannot hold any items for guests at the Admissions Office. Please
    leave all unsecured or restricted items in your personal vehicle or at home.
  • Regular Tulsa Zoo rules, including those regarding outside objects, service dogs/pets,
    tobacco products and more, apply. See tulsazoo.org/rules.

Tulsa Zoo will be closed to the public on Friday, September 13, to prepare for WALTZ World Tour Presented by COUNTRY Financial and Hardesty Family Foundation.
