Northern Seahorse

Hippocampus erectus

The northern seahorse, or lined seahorse, comes in a wide variety of colors including grey, black, red, green and orange. Their coloration and spines help camouflage them so they can ambush their prey. Human intrusion has resulted in declining populations.
