Fawn-Breasted Bowerbird

Chlamydera cerviniventris

Bowerbirds are commonly known for their unique nesting behavior where the male will build a “bower” structure that he decorates with brightly colored objects to attract a mate. These bowers are built separately from the nest which is a cup made of sticks in a tree, while the bower resides on the ground.
