Join Conservation On Tap presented by NEFF Brewing May 19 to Benefit Diana Monkeys

The Tulsa Zoo will host the fifth annual Conservation on Tap presented by NEFF Brewing from 6:30-9 p.m. on Friday, May 19. The event will feature more than 30 breweries, distributors and home brewers with proceeds benefitting the Tulsa Zoo Diana monkeys and the West African Primate Conservation Action. 

 

“Tulsa Zoo is considered one of the most successful breeding programs of Diana monkeys in the U.S.,” said Richard Kotarsky, curator of wildlife conservation and scientific advancement for the zoo. “We have been committed to supporting the species since the early 1980s and look forward to continuing our support in the future.” 

 

Since 1997, the zoo has supported more than 360 conservation projects for creatures of all sizes and from all locales. The West African Primate Conservation Action works to preserve wild habitats for the endangered Diana monkey and other West African wildlife.

In addition to the beer selection, Conservation on Tap will feature live music, yard games and animal encounters. The event will take place throughout Lost Kingdom in Tulsa Zoo. All guests must be 21-and-older to attend. IDs will be checked at the main gate.
