Family and Friends
Spectators are welcome to cheer runners along at the finish line and enjoy free entry into the zoo afterward.

All attendees need to be inside the zoo by 10 a.m. with no re-entry privileges allowed.

Please allow at least 20 extra minutes to your normal driving time for race day traffic. The Mohawk Park entrance is off East 36th Street North which can be accessed via Harvard, Yale, Sheridan (usually the busiest) or Highway 169.

All participants and spectators need to be inside the Mohawk Park gates and parked by 8:20 am. Because this is a safety issue, no exceptions or refunds will be given due to late arrival. Gates will re-open at 10 am.

There are two ways to access the main zoo parking lot on race day:

  • Off 36th Street North through Mohawk Park main entrance (gps address: 4099 Chickasaw Drive, Tulsa Ok 74115)
  • Alternate zoo entrance – Turn on North Winston Avenue west of Yale Avenue off East 36th Street North. Winston Avenue merges with Mohawk Boulevard. Follow Mohawk Boulevard around the golf course and into the zoo parking lot.

Please Note: Due to the course location, Mohawk Park Gates will be CLOSED with no access from 8:20 am – 10:00 am.

No exceptions or refunds will be given for late arrivals as this is a matter of safety. Please add extra time to your travel plans.

• If you need to leave before the gates re-open, please use Creek Dr.

The 5K and 10K is sanctioned and certified by the U.S. Track and Field Association. Professional race timing will be managed by the professionals at RunFAR Racing Services. The timing will not begin until you have crossed the starting line so don’t panic at the size of the crowd! If you are a faster runner, we recommend you begin at or near the starting line. After the race, scan your bib’s QR code to view results.

The 1-mile Fun Run finish line and the 5k start line are located on opposite ends of the zoo. You can view the course map here.
