This penguin chick hatched to parents Dassen and Ireland on Oct. 3, through our participation in the Association of Zoos & Aquariums African Penguin Species Survival Plan®
Until the chick’s gender is determined, we are offering gender-neutral name options. The winning name and gender will be revealed in early 2023.
